What a busy time we've had over the last year and a bit! Time is long overdue to post some pics of some of the yummy treats that we've made. Lets get started...

Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty was the theme of a little girl's 2nd birthday party.. how cute!

The cupcakes were so colourfully cheerful and pretty, the expression on the little girl's face when she saw them was of pure delight!

 Thrown a little out of our element by being asked to make a 3 tier birthday cake covered and decorated in fondant, we grabbed the challenge by the horns and... 12+ hours later this is what we made:

Lots of lessons learnt whilst assembling this cake together, particularly working with fondant! Feeling as if we'd been hit for a 6, we were delighted when little Gadija stared at it in wonderment and awe and exclaimed to her dad... "Wow... can I pleeeease take it home?!"

One thing is for certain though, we realised how much we LOVE making cupcakes (^^;)

Such fun making kiddie cupcakes! Thinking of ideas, putting all the elements together... love it! 

Some emergency speciality cupcakes for a little boy's birthday party at his school. It was a challenge to get it done, but we did it :)

These were special... the order that jump-started our idea from baking for fun to baking especially for others! We got the request and took up the challenge... Happy 2nd birthday to Princess Emily ;)
